Sketchy Color Study

This is a very rough layout for a concept I had of a couple lying near each other. She'll have trees and leaves in her dress. He'll be wearing a skeleton suit and will have a red bird perched on his ribs, where his heart should be.
Not sure if this will be digital or oil...

My Girls

Ten recent oil paintings; each was originally a graphite drawing in my sketchbook. I attached the paper to thick illustration board and cut them out with a utility knife, sanded them down and painted them. Each has a special place in my heart and it was difficult to see them adopted after my AG gallery show.
I already have some new ones in progress...
