As much as I really do love Winter with all its snowy softness and cozy closeness, after a while I long to throw off my many scarves and let my toes run free from their boots.
Happily, yesterday was the first day of Spring! And not a moment too soon. Hooray for little green sprouts nosing their way up to peek at the sunshine, and a cheerful how-do-you-do to birdsong and mild lake breezes.

Hope for Comfort and Protection
For the many thousands who have been lost, and the thousands who have lost so much.
To offer more than hope: Japan earthquake and tsunami relief though Save the Children, Global Giving, Hands On, the American Red Cross and more.

Radio Silence
Apologies for the scarcity of posts lately. With a new four-legged addition to our household and my preparation of lots of new pieces for gallery shows, I'm the busiest bee around!
I'll be back soon!

Local Folks
I was asked to donate some artwork to Ruffing Montessori School's Mardi Gras Magic silent auction, which is taking place at the St. Demetrios Cultural Center in Rocky River on March 5th. If you're lucky enough to be attending this special event, keep an eye out for them!
Thanks, Mindy!

Pirates and Goth Chicks and Love! Oh my!
For all of you who are like me and avoid flowery, mushy cards covered in roses and doves, here's a dandy 5-page Valentine's Day card that fulfills all the requirements!
Silly, yet sincere. Clever, yet warm. Tender, yet awesome.
And, really, how can you turn down a Valentine's Day card that references Trekkies and mall food courts?
Plus, it's got some pretty rad illustrations, thanks to moi. You can find it in Target!

I'm Totally Addicted to You
One of my American Greetings Valentine's Day cards available at Target!
Bonus: it's enormous and plays music.
