Elsewhere

My parents have happily escaped and are camping for several days in the lovely wilderness.

Hooray for warm campfires, cold rivers and bright starry skies!

Spring Showers & Celebrations

Here are a couple of my American Greetings laser die-cut cards available in Target, just in time for all those Bridal Showers and Engagement Parties you'll be invited to this Spring! This image doesn't do them justice - the details are sooo delicate.

The design process for these cards was tricky. While keeping the design dainty and intricate, I also had to consider how each little branch and blossom would connect to maintain some stability in the cut paper. I'm pretty thrilled about how they turned out! They're much more enjoyable in real life.

Looking Forward

If all goes well, our weather this Friday should provide us with a lovely, sunny, near-eighty day. Hooray!

Six small pieces accepted into the American Greetings Spring Fine Arts Show opening in April at Spaces. Ink on acetate over acrylic and paper collage. Yay!

Just for Mom

Here are a few pages from a cute little hardback Mother's Day booklet I illustrated for American Greetings. It includes blank spaces for the giver to write his or her own messages and even some photo corners to hold a picture. Printed on sustainably sourced paper - woo!
