And check the shop this afternoon! There will be an update of thirteen items(!) including 3 new purple-haired stitched girls.

I was excited to be asked by the Geauga Humane Society's Rescue Village and the Orange Art Center to participate in an exhibition to benefit their organizations! The show opens Thursday night, December 4th at 6PM and runs through December 14th. I'm looking forward to coming up with some little creature-inspired pieces. My concept list is too long already...

We stayed and the weird, spooky, quirky Mount Vernon Hotel. With all the old paintings, marble faces and taxidermied animals, it felt like with just a few cobwebs, it could be so easily turned into a haunted hotel. Although our room key repeatedly stopped working, the elevator broke and the basement parking garage gave us the super creep-out, I enjoyed the place and would venture to stay again. More endearing than your average chain motel, that's for sure.
By the way, thanks to folks on the internet for these particular photos - ours are still sleeping in the camera. Pics of new art that sold (and didn't sell) will be up soon!
